IPOH, Sept 24 — The recent flash floods in Perak were primarily due to the exceptionally heavy or extraordinary rainfall, said state Department of Drainage and Irrigation director Ahmad Shahrir Md Naziri.

IPOH, Dec 19 — Members of the public are urged to immediately report to the Perak Public Works Department (JKR) if they detect movements of soil and rock debris down a slope in any areas in the state during the current rainy season.
